CZ, Adrspach-Teplice Rocks – Beautiful Sandstone Rock Town – VIDEO
The village of Adrspahc is the most popular base for trips. You can easily reach it both by car and by train. But we recommend going out in the morning or out of season, otherwise you will have an uncomfortable push. If you enter the rock town from Teplice nad Metuji, you will probably go a lot more miles, but you will also meet fewer people. Train goes even to Teplice.
The entire Adrspach-Teplice rocks consist of two rocky towns separated by a deep 7-kilometer Vlci Rokle canyon. However, tourist trails are interconnected.
The most popular is a relatively undemanding circuit through Adrspaske rocks. Its first stretch is doable even with a baby stroller. The journey begins at the flooded sandpit and continues around the most famous sandstone towers such as Homole cukru , Dzban, and Elis tower to two waterfalls.
From here, you can either continue on the Adrspach Lake, where you can ride on a boat to the Vlci rokle or return to Adrspach. There are also known bodies like the Lovers or Mr Mayor and Miss Mayor.
Through a town of rocky formation near Teplice there lead a few more routes, but for most of them, you can expect to get a some more fun. We recommend going to one of the views, such as the ruins of Stremen Castle.
If you have time, stop by at the romantic Cerne Lake and then come to the nearby ruins of the Skala Castle. It opens a beautiful view of the countryside towards Broumov and Police nad Metuji. You can also take a look at the castle ruins Adrspach at the very end of the Adrspach-Teplice rocks.
You can combine the trip with other parts of the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area, for example we recommend climbing up Bozanovsky Spicak. Beautiful Stolove Hory National Park (Narodowy Gór Stołowych Park), which is on the Polish side of the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
