The chateau came to existance as a re-do of former structure. It became in the year 1586. The ground plan was altered to a U shape back then. Every new owner altered the chateau a bit. The current chateau's look - a Renaissance-style one – is the work of the 19th and 20th century. Some facades still feature painted frescoes.
