The town of Nowosibirsk is bigger, 1500 kilometres distant from smaller but much more interesting town of Irkutsk (it is approx. 40 hours train -journey).

Anyway, your general idea aboud emerald island could fuse with neat plain, coloured into thousands of green islands. Afterthat, when we said good-bye to Marketa and Pepa (they continued their trip to Bolivian beach of Titicaca Copacabana) we left by bus for Arequipa, the second biggest town of Peru.

The Ireland is to be said that it would be rough country, becoming fine by means of its type of whiskey. And such fact is double so valid at west coast. Although this area is whipped by winds and rains, it conceals some from most beautiful countrysides of Europe. Our second excursion to the Titicaca Lake was headed for Taquille Lake, where the countryside could remind the Mediterranean. So, we left, (together with Pepa and Marketa,who arrived to Puno early morning) for the pier. Here, we met a man, who sold us the tickets yesterday, and he lead us to rather luxurious vessel.

The 11th day of our journey was dedicated to Gibraltar (this area is not loved by Spaniards), important navigation point, connecting Europe with Africa.

We arrived to Puno, after sleepless night, at five o'clock in the morning, and were contacted immediately by accommodation beaters, as this became usuall during our stay in Peru. The first man offered us the rate of Sols 15 per a night, and such offer was acceptable.

The tenth day of our journey we made a trek in Sierra Nevada Mountains and climbed up to the top of Veleta (3392 m), the second greatest peak of Spain.

We decided that for Cusco sightseeing, including environs, will be reserved the whole day. In the evening, Markéta and Pepa left us, in order to visit Pisac, as they had time enough for such excursion. The rest of our group decided to transfer to Titicaca Lake.
