The Canadian city of Windermere is located on the eastern shore of the lake of the same name, which is located between two mountains, the Purcell Mountains in the west and the Rockies in the east. The city was founded in 1902 and was named after the city of Windemere in England. People visit Canadian Windemere mainly because of the beautiful nature.

Approximately 15 km from the regional town of Trnava in the beautiful valley of the Blava stream lies the village of Radošovce. Its nearby neighbors are the spa town of Piešťany, Hlohovec Castle or the famous Leopoldov Prison. Today we set out to get to know this unusual village, which was administratively established not so long ago (January 1, 1991), by separating from Jaslovské Bohunice.

This time we will go to Orava, more precisely to the district town of Dolný Kubín. The town of almost 20,000 is set in the valley of the river Orava and is surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Orava Highlands and Orava Magura. The name of the city reffers to Quito tribe, original inhabitants of the area. They lived here before the Incas and the Spaniards. The Spaniards reached the area in 1534 and founded San Francisco de Quito settlement. At first, there were only 204 people who lived in what is the present historical district.

The village of Šúrovce is located on the fertile Danubian lowland between Váh and Dudváh near the town of Sereď. The village with more than 2,300 inhabitants is only 12 km away from the district town of Trnava. The village was created by merging the original villages of Veľké Šúrovce, Valtov Šúr, Varov Šúr and Zemianske Šúrovce.

This time we will head to the foot of the Slovak Ore Mountains and to the river Rimava, where the town of Tisovec lies. The first written mention dates from 1334 and its history is closely connected with mining, more precisely with the mining of silver, iron ore and later limestone.

We reach the volcano by bus, which stops in front of the National Theater in San José and goes directly to the crater parking lot. The road is quite tiring and slow, a short distance from the top will be delayed by a column of cars in front of the ticket offices (like every national park, this one is also charged).

The village of Košolná lies on the right bank of the fertile floodplain of the Parná river, approximately 12 km northwest of the district town of Trnava. The cadastral area with an area of 959 hectares in the north borders Boleráz, in the east and south with Suchá nad Parnou and in the west with the cadastre of Dlhá and Dolní Orešany.

Today we will head across the US border to Canada. Together we will visit the small picturesque town of Vernon, which is perfect for relaxation. For example, there are beautiful nature parks or you can ride in a stagecoach like from the Wild West on one of the once largest ranches in British Columbia. It is also worth mentioning the local attractions in the form of a train made of apple crates. Alpacas that were brought here from the South American Andes are also waiting for you. And if you would like a little adrenaline, then you will definitely enjoy the local water slides.

We move from the wild Tortuguera to the central part of Costa Rica, where we plan to spend the last few days of our trip. The destination is the capital of San José, where we also want to make several trips to the surroundings. We stay in the great Costa Rica Backpackers, a hostel with amazing facilities including a swimming pool, bar, kitchenette or restaurant. They also offer an exchange of money for a very pleasant course and many optional trips.

The island is a combination of amazing beaches and tropical gardens. The island's capital Fort-de-France charms visitors with its architecture. It also features great exhibitions of colonial and pre-Colombian history.

South of Trnava (13 km) by the Gidra stream lies the village of Voderady. In the past, it belonged to the Bratislava county, but for the time being it is part of the Trnava region.
