After hot days on the sunny island of Langkawi, we move to the coldest area of our journey - the Cameron Highlands. Located at a higher altitude, there are lower temperatures, which is a bit unusual for us in Malaysia. But it is nothing dramatic, the windbreaker and long pants are enough for morning and evening. Our destination for the next two nights is the city of Tanah Rata, which will also serve as a starting point for our two scheduled trips.
In the previous episode, we have explored sites referring to plantation, which for a long time has been an important segment of the economy of the American South.
Today we will go on one of the most popular trips in Egypt. In just one day we can discover the ancient treasures of Egyptian history. We will look into the famous Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the temple complex of Karnak.
Our stay on the beautiful Malaysian island of Langkawi is nearing the end and the last trip is ahead. Today we set out on the most famous icon of the island, the Sky Bridge. The bridge is less than 20 kilometers by car from Pantai Cenang.

Today's trip will take us to the American state of Indiana. Our goal is Fort Wayne, the second largest city in the state, brimming with places to go.
We have already presented the Algarve region in our series in great detail. We end it with the city of Lagos, which is one of the most popular tourist and serves as a perfect base for exploring. Thanks to the surfers, it also maintained a very relaxing atmosphere.
Our next stop on the road was the island of Ometepe. When we read that it is the largest volcanic lake in the world and is made up of two volcanoes, Concepción and Maderas, the choice was clear.
We haven't taken you to mountains in Slovakia for a long time now, so we'll fix it today. We will visit one of the mining gems of Slovakia, which is Špania Dolina. It lies less than 11 kilometers from Banská Bystrica in the arms of the Starohorské Hills.
From Penang harbor we set off with a small ferry to the very popular and popular tourist resort - the island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi). It takes about three hours to get there, and it is definitely a good idea to take something warmer, because the ferry is extremely cold due to extreme air conditioning. Outside the closed part of the ship, unfortunately, there is not much room for comfortable long journey. The island can also be transported by air, such as from Penang and Kuala Lumpur.
Today's continuation of the trip to the most interesting places in Atlanta will begin with a visit to a major cultural monument - the Fox Theater, which was built during the 1920s as Yaraab Temple Shrine Mosque in the spirit of overly opulent Arabic style. When the building was opened to the public, newspapers wrote of it as "a picturesque building of even worrying grandiose beyond imagination."
Zavírka and Linkův Cross are among the most mysterious places in the Brdy, which are associated with many legends. In winter you can also get to Zavírka on cross-country skis and the mysterious Link Cross will be best sought during the period of vegetation calm, so both places are ideal tips for a winter trip to Brdy.
Today we set out to one of the most visited tourist areas in the Czech Republic, the majestic and highest mountains of the country - the Giant Mountains. Our goal will be the largest and oldest mountain cabin of Luční bouda (1410 m above sea level).
There is another lighthouse near Sagres. Its current appearance dates back to 1908 and its optical devices are among the 10 largest in the world. The lighthouse can be reached around beautiful cliffs in probably Portugal's most scenic area.
Granada, popularly called "La Gran Sultana", is the oldest city of Nicaragua with well-preserved colonial architecture and also one of the first cities on the continent. It is the capital of the Department of Granada and one of the most important in the country.
After visiting North Sumatra we return to Malaysia, but this time not back to Kuala Lumpur, but heading north. We fly to the northwest coast of Malaysia, to the state of Penang (also Pinang), which consists of the main island with the capital George Town, the mainland (Seberang Perai) and other smaller islands.
Atlanta is the center of the American South from different perspectives. Originally the city was a military base, later it became an important railway junction and thanks to trade it experienced a great boom. During the American Civil War, this was an important southern base, but was almost razed to the ground after being occupied by General Sherman. It was the destruction of Atlanta caused by Union troops that inspired Margaret Mitchell to set her epic Gone with the Wind, which later won the Pulitzer Prize.
There is a lot to see at the westernmost tip of southern Portugal. Among other things, a large national park, which protects the best preserved part of the coast, as well as the important fortress of Santo António de Belix in Sagres, to which we will now go.
Finally, we find ourselves in Nicaragua and curious about it. It is the largest country in Central America with a very diverse landscape. Nicaragua is known as the "Land of Lakes and Volcanoes" and is primarily divided into three areas: the Northeast Mountains, the Pacific Coast and the Caribbean Coast.
We return to a small but beautiful town Liptovský Hrádok. In addition to the natural beauty of the confluence of the Váh and Bela, the natural parallel bar Skalka or an exceptional arboretum, it also offers a number of technical, medieval or historical monuments and attractions.
This time we are heading to the Sumatran jungle. Along the way we stop for lunch, the food is great in Indonesia.
