At the theater once again I try to hitchhike a dolmush and continue to Gumbet, another bay beyond Bodrum. I go there to see the Myndos gate. From there a road to the city of Myndos ran. The gate was on a strategically significant location.
Today we go to one of the islands near the Finnish capital of Helsinki. There are many islands yet only one island complex is that important that was with other six Finnish landmarks included to UNESCO’s list.

Today we visit the capital of Helsinki in the country also called Suomi. Despite the city is well-known and sought by tourists, don’t expect crowded streets. As the country in which it is situated, the city is calm and quite quiet.
Right now I pass a shop with ice-cream made in Bodrum. I cant miss this place. I take sour cherry, watermelon, and tangerine called dondrumu in Turkish. I continue slightly uphill to less glamorous neighborhood in Bodrum. I go up until a low white wall that surrounds famous Mausoleum in Halikarnassos.
Before my flight to Chengdun where I had studied for half a year, there were several other trip. One of them took me to Leshan, the place with the largest Buddha statue in the world.

Today we take you to a small harbor town on the coast of Osthrobotnie. The city of Kokkola situated between Oula and Vaasa is not something that we would recommend you for an individual trip, however, if you pass by, you should stop there and see what they have.
We have just landed. I take a deep breath. Finally we are at the Bodrum Airport. We get into a bus and 40 minutes later ride downhill to Bodrum. The air has a salty smell of distant lends, colors have numerous shades, and azure horizon seamlessly changes to the sky.
Several days have passed at Chengdu University. Days went by rather in same manner. Some were less calm and some calmer. We had no trip ahead of us and waited what would happen.

After another traveling across northern Finland we visit the sixth largest city of the country of thousand lakes – Oulu. The city has long history. Its golden era was in the 19th century when it became world tar production center. Thanks to this Oulu was not just a trade center, but also center of culture, education, and art.
We cruise around the Ortakoy Mosque built by Sultan Abdulmecid in 1853. The construction was done by his architect Nokogos Balayn. It is in the baroque style and it is situated in the European part of the Bosporus. Now we flow under the Bosporus bridge built in 1973 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
During walk in Dujiangyan Cityu the school invited us for a generous lunch. All ate properly. Soon they regretted as they had found out that we would go to Mount Qingcheng青城山.
We left Rethymno. It slowly fades behind us. We travel towards Cretan nature in the Samaria gorge.
In the article we travel to far north and continue in our last story about Rovaniemi. However, we will not stay any longer in northern town. We will travel a few kilometers to the north. There is the place giving tourists the reason to stay in Rovaniemi. It is the home of Santa Claus – Santa Claus Village.
Now we go downhill to the harbor. We embark a ferry and choose a bench on the upper deck. Soon the ship set sail. The name Bosporus means Cow ford. According the legend, there live beautiful princess Io in ancient Greece.
Every once in a while, our University has decided that it is necessary to educate us in culture. Or at least try it. I always then appeared on the bulletin board announcement on various trips. Such notification shall we, though as administrative students who went on a diet mental, more or less perceived as an invitation to tour a huge banquet that this trip will end, all of course in the direction of the school.
In Rethymno we have already spent a lot of time. We saw something of its historic heritage, even if there is yet much more to see. We just randomly mention some of them.
You can get easily to Rovaniemi just like to other larger Finnish cities by plane. From the airport you can get to the city by regular public transportation. If you don’t mind long travelling you can get to Rovaniemi by train as well.
With so many memories from yesterday we slept so well. Now we are about to have delicious Turkish breakfast, i.e. white cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread… And black tea with much sugar. And we are ready to go. It is like we are invited to see the sultan personally in his Topkapi Palace.
One day we decided we decided with L. to see “culture,” literally. Chengdu is well known for it Jinsha Site Museum金沙 (literally “golden sand“), (in Chinese Tin-Sha-c po-wu-kuan). The easiest and cheapest way to get here is probably using one of the city buses: right here, buses like 5, 81, 83, 7, or 37.
After unveiling gourmet side of the Cretan city rise from the comfortable sitting in one of the local restaurants and we will explore the historical legacy left by several millennia of human habitation.
