We get up a bit earlier in the morning. Between eight to nine o’clock. We need to get to the center before our ticket will lost its validity. We pack our things and after a long breakfast and short farewell to Jell we set off to the main train station. Today, our schedule includes coffee so we find comfy armchairs under blossoming trees on the bank of one of the channels.
Of course, from time to time one just gets this urge to “bargain”. In case that you consider this rather amusement and you do not have nothing better to do. I even thing that if you are lucky, you can buy many things really cheap at market. Moreover, you will chitchat while doing so.
A guy sitting behind me is getting on fire. I do not understand from what for he drank only a third of a beer. But it is not very pleasant. For a while he annoys Ana sitting next to him. Fortunately, a very robust and kind black woman offers her to switch places.

On the way “home” we pick up Zuzka. Friend of Ana that just had arrived from France. On the following day, the sun woke us up around 10 o’clock. I highly recommend it!

Another land, another habit. I realized this every day while I was in China. It did not take long. It began when I get out of the plane, continued with unbelievably intense portion of Sichuan pepper that were included in my dinner, and continued once more during - breakfast.
I stand on a road leading to a freeway, I hold proudly a board saying Brussels in two languages and I smell the chocolate coming from a factory next to which I stand. I feel like a Charlie. My stomach tells me that it would like to eat . A chocolate is so far away from me as for the little boy from the book.
Days at Chengdu school went by quite quietly. We started at half past eight and ended at noon. Occasionally we had an extra optional class in the afternoon.

The one who loves adventure and is reasonably physically fit, undoubtedly would like a few tips about easy winter hikes Velka Studena Valley, located in the Slovak part of the High Tatras. A year-round open cottage, Zbojnicka Chata (1960 meters), which waits for us in this valley, offers a place to rest, refreshment and cozy accommodation. We can spend here a few days without getting away from the surrounding of Tatranian peaks. Keep in mind, however, that the motion in the Tatras in winter outside marked trails is very limited according to the TANAP rules!

Fortunately, in south part of Lewis there are hills that flawlessly continue to Harris. Islanders also need wood so they planted there a small forest. Now I lay in a warm sleeping bag, in a tent attached to three trees, I listen to an ugly sound of drops constantly hiting my tent. Well, I have to get up eventually. After all I come here to learn about the islands, not to lay all day long.

Right next to the port, there is a small train station. Its loading platform has not been used for a long time, obviously. It has two platforms.
I am waiting for tickets to get from the Beijing Airport. I have to just sit in a right bus. An hour later I am on place. I am really curious about my new place, campus and its surroundings. I have to remember my first campus in Chengdu two years earlier.
