Georgia – z města do hor aneb cesta plná zastávek
And so we listened to his advice and set off. It's a magical place. There was water in the canyon, so it was possible to swim. Waterfall feeding the river was nice addition to that sight. There is a seating area and a small kiosk that works only in the season.
Our next stop was the industrial city of Poti, which lies on the Black Sea. Out of season it looks pretty scary here. Everything is so gray and gloomy. So we only headed to the sea where the cows surprised us at the beach. Who would say the cows go to the beach. We whispered and set out into the mountains.
From Poti we continued to the town of Zugdidi. Because the city map shows interesting places, we decided to abstain. The main street is very busy, playing music and smells of food all around us. We'll go through the whole square until we get to Dadians Residential. We walk through the park and there is a chateau with a church in front of us. The place is very nice, but we are so excited about nature that we do not stay very long.
But on the way, we did another little break, at Hydroelectric Dam. It is a nice way there, the serpentines are spinning wild in the nature and all the time beside us stretches the wild river Inguri. Nature is so amazing that one is simply astonished. From the main road to Messe, we went to that hydroelectric power plant. This water reservoir is the world's fourth tallest dam, and is also the world's second highest vault. The height of the dam is 272 m. Here again, the time has stopped. At the sight of the water reservoir there is a sample sign, how it should be repaired and what will be offered here. According to me, it is the music of the future that will survive in the form of these signs. The site is popular.
I have to say that every day Georgia will surprise us. Every corner of this country is so beautiful that one could spend hours and hours here, and it would be very little. Georgia is simply an unbelievable place - wandering dogs, cows, pigs, stalls selling Georgian specialties or small local shops.
