Kenya: Tsavo National Park

Tsavo National Park is huge. It is so great that he even had to split into two, so that visitors to his disadvantage in the world: you have to pay at the entrance to each section. But that inconvenience all over - about 21 thousand km² East and West Tsavo Park welcomes you to the lions roar, and maybe you will finally find out, as does the giraffe.

Tsavo East and West

The eastern part of the park consists mainly of savannah and river Voi River with reservoirs Aruba, around which it really lives. For water a huge colony of animals coming here and the elephants are red. Why? They vale is in the red mud bath and after gaining its shade. You'll also meet there a herd of giraffes, zebras, buffalo and antelope, you shouldn’t be surprised to see the lion, cheetah or a hippo.

On the western side of the park Tsavo is dominated volcanic landscape with wooded pasture, irrigated by the river. Number one attraction is Mzima springs, which come in two lakes. Right this place is the best observation of hippos and crocodiles from all over Kenya. In addition, live crowns of palm trees and colourful birds, monkeys, so you never know where you can eye catch a glimpse of a wild beast.

Seeing wild African animals in their natural environment is an experience you will never forget. Meet face to face with the wild is not easy and it is necessary to wait long for that brief look of silent treading the beast but worth it.
