Summer holidays and the holiday season are in full swing. With the following tips, you can playfully manage the planning of a weekend family holiday program and turn trips into unforgettable adventures.
Mendlingtal World of Adventure (Göstling)
Alpine streams were once adorned with a large number of water canals, river gates, sidewalks, mill wheels and dams. In the Göstling area, the locals decided to renovate these wooden elements in the mountains, creating the very popular Mendlingtal adventure world and the "Auf dem Holzweg" - paths created by wooden footbridges that run along the mountain trough to lower the wood.
You will discover beautiful rocky phenomena, gorges and exciting adventure stops and habitats. Within the adventure world, there are also old mills, nature trails and an emotional trail, where children can walk barefoot.
Nebelstein: A Nature Trail with Adventure Stops
The Nebelstein Adventure Hiking Trail (Nebelstein Erlebnis-Wanderweg) is a hiking trail with a length of approximately 11 kilometers. However, there is no need to be afraid to go all kilometers, you will literally "play" them! There will be six experience stops along the route for fun and diversity. It leads over the top of the Nebelstein mountain (1017 m above sea level). Wooden buildings, a stone playground and a perfect view await you.
Discover the Ant Trail of Coronas Ameisenpfad
New adventure trail "In the footsteps of the king of the forest" in St. Corona runs over 15 playful and educational stations. Here, children will learn all about the life and tasks of these tiny but important forest dwellers.
Ants are rightly called the kings of the forest. After all, he can carry many times more burden over long distances than the weight of his own body. At the same time, it builds towers and tunnels, while keeping forests and meadows clean. The adventure trail stretches along the Kampstein on a 2.5 km long route and is great for families with children. At the highest point of the tour, by the artificial pond, there is the "Relax-Reich" with sun loungers and benches.
A Bike Tour of Adventure in Garden City
The cycle path along the Danube embankment takes you to the town of Tulln Gardens with all its attractions and, more recently, for children. On your way you will become explorers in the Tulln Gardens - with a treetop trail and the largest natural playground in Lower Austria.
