Krasnaya Polana
Mountaneous complex, unique, as far as its position, and nature heterogenity is conce
rned, is 
situated in only 40 kms distance from the coast and 70 kms from the town of Sochi. Fresh mountain air, full of freshness and smell of Alpine meadows, brought a fame and popularity to Polana, as a wonderful place destined for relax. So, Kranaya Polana is named, not by chance, as „Russian Switzerland“. Its difference from traditional European holiday resorts is consisted in connection of subtropical climate and mountains. The winter in Krasnaya Polana is sunny, with a lot of snow covering. Main Caucasus Mountain Ridge protects reliably the town against north winds, and rock of Ach-Cu cleft from penetration of warm coastal air.
Worontsow and Achstyr Cave
The cave consists of three parts: Kaban, Worontsow and Labyrinth Caves, connected each other with narrow passages, filled in with water. Many caves were well-known in ancient times to the people who founded there their camping gounds. The traces of their stay are to be found also inside Achstyr Cave, shrine of ancient culture lovers. So, in general, there were discovered, along Sochi area, 400 vertical, horizontal, gradual and labyrinth caves.
