USA, Ohio: Cleveland – Science and Boats
Lucy was about 110 centimeters tall and could weigh about 29 kg. However, the "audience grateful" will rather be the skeletons of dinosaurs that rise above the passing visitors. There are also exhibits from the field of geology or botany.
We will stay in science and knowledge because we will continue to the Great Lakes Science Center. A popular educational institution will try to bring up your curiosity and inspire you to be interested in the possibility of traveling in space or seafaring. The main attraction is the steam boat.
The 188-meter-long ship William G. Mather set sail first in 1925, but has recently undergone extensive repairs. If you want to see the boat in detail, you can easily buy tickets on board and go on a guided tour that will take you through vast cargo spaces, a bridge whose main elements are made of brass and oak, elegant guest cabins or a four-story engine room.
If the ships are close to your heart, we recommend that you spend the time of the USS Cod Submarine Memorial under which you can imagine a World War II submarine. It is the very first machine of its kind used to rescue another submarine.
It won't let us take you at least to the center of the local theater scenes in the Theater District. It consists of nine theaters, such as those from New York's Brodway, as well as concerts and family shows. Theaters were built mainly in the early 1920s. In the 1970s, thanks to the involvement of local residents, the theater simply escaped the demolition, and in the 1980s and 1990s, they were reconstructed and could enjoy a renaissance.
The heart of this neighborhood is Playhouse Square theater, which is visited by a million people a year. If for some reason you don't have time to go to a show, we recommend at least using the free tour option. A once-a-minute 90-minute tour starts every 15 minutes on a given day between 10.00 and 11.30 once a month from June to December.
