The ideal starting point for the excursion is the town of Leibnitz. This wine-town became a cycling tourist centre within last couple of years. The route, leading along Mur-river, opens vast possibilities of daily excursions to Graz or towards thermal area, seven cycling tours leads into South-Styria Vinegrowing area. So, route R 1 passes Sulmal Valley, and route R 20 leads through Saggautal - both paths are suitable for families with children. The routes are connected with another paths, such as Trekking Tour or more difficult R 25, leading through vinegrowing area, enabling also to discover very interesting Austrian kitchen arts on bicycle.
