Jesenicko
A market village of Jesenice was founded on a crossroad of roads Cheb-Pilsen-Žatec. Obviously, in the course of 11th century, there was constructed here St.Peter and Paul church. It was founded as Romanesque church, and later, it was twice changed in Baroque style. In north direction of Jesenice, in Luční potok (Meadow Brook) valley, there is passing a border between fytogeographic complexes, warm Pannonicum and cold Hercynicum. It is a place, where both these groups are mixing together. So, from this reason, there is to be found variegated sorts of flora. You can find here approx. 20 sorts of protected plants. The path passes along wet Stavač meadows. These types of meadows are to be found very rarely here now. In Jesenice area, most of forests are planted artificially. There are mostly fir-trees and pine-trees, on some places even some larch-trees. As very tasty forest fruits are concerned, you can find here many bushes of bilberries (whortleberries) and blueberries and oxalis acid. You can also watch here standard forest game.
