Starý Plzenec Educational Path
This educational path starts and terminates on square in the community of Starý Plzenec. Maybee, most important on the route, there is St. Peter and Paul Rotunde. This Oton´s Rotunde is most preserved early Middle Age building in Bohemia. The construction was built just in 976. Further, you visit Hůrka Hill, on the top of which, there is to be found former piece of ground from times, when Slave tribes colonized West Bohemia. The path leads you throughout protected finding place of fossils.
This route is suitable for foot passengers as well as for cyclists. You can pass it all year round. You find here nine stops, where information tables give you details regarding places of interest around.
