Obidos in Portugal is Middle Age town, nearly 90 kms distant from capital Lisbon. Nevertheless, the number of tourists who wish to visit this locality, exceed several times the number of local inhabitants. You can find it after dusk, when the town is nearly empty („evacuated“).
Obidos is popular not only thanks to its magic atmosphere, but also thanks to Middle Age Festival, taken place there each year.
