We are heading towards Rådhuset which Oslo's townhall built in the Classicist revival style. Its two rectangle towers are hard to not to see. The east tower is 66-meters high. Inside, there are chimes consisting of 38 bells. The northern tower is 63 meters high. The astronomical clock is situated on the south side. The clock is unique and also one of the largest in Europe. Its dial has 8,6 meters in diameter. The hand is 5,7 meters long. To be honest, I didn't like th town hall at first. And I learn the locals also needed some time to adjust. However, they consider it an integral part of their city which is partly given by its beautiful interior.

Another stop on our journey to the north along the eastern coast of Sorfjord coastline is Lofthus – a small village with well known apple orchards. Lofthus is visited by tourists thanks to a steep tourist trail. It goes uphill onto a plateau of Hardangervidda national park. It is a plain area of immense vastness.

Sweden and Norway are Nordic countries situated on the Scandinavian peninsula which gives the country its cahracteristic features. The main natural attraction in the country are fjords cutting deep into the mainland. There are many such fjords in Norway. Areas without water are regions where many lakes are located. Or you can stumble upon some beautiful hilly area, plateau, deep forests or mountain ridge with a glacier. Nature is not the only thing worth of visiting. The two largest cities too – Oslo and bergen. The north of the country tourists usually avoid. If you seek to be on some remote place alone this would be the best choice.

I suppose that had you travelled to Norway by plane and you intend to see the fjords than you would probably lan dat Bergen airport (about 25 minutes away from downtown). I am not peculiarly interested in large cities still I would recommend you to spend there some quality time.

We have seen lot of things in Scandinavia during our stay. We have visited Swedish national parks of Skuleskogen and Sarek and also Norwegian park of Svartisen. Now we decided to end our journey. The last destination of our travel where we stopped for longer than two hours was Cape Utvorda.

The main goal of our journey across Scandinavia was the Sarek National Park in Sweden. Our trek didn’t come out as we expected it would however, we were not disappointed either. Even in bad weather, we had some wonderful experiences.
