Slatinice spa
Slatinice Spa is situated in a countryside of forests, Olomouc Region, in an altitude of 245 metres above sea level. First preserved notice about healing effects of local water comes to 16th century. Just in 1714, seven rooms were available for stay here. Later, in 1733, building of new balneology house was started, and in 1896, there was made chemical analyse of this sulphuric water. Cold, weakly mineralized nature springs (with contents of sulphuretted hydrogen) at temperature of 16,2° C well up here. This water is suitable for treatment of moving apparatus and affects, in positive way, on knuckle cartilages. Balneologic centre offers for the visitors rehabilitation basin at temperature of 27° C with nature mineral water at the temperature of 38° C and further procedures.
Spa surroundings offers satisfactory activity for sportsmen of all kinds, such as excursions along well marked tourist trails for foot passengers as well as for cyclists, or excursions finding historical past of the region.
