Jeseníky Mountains - Czech republic
Protected Natural Area Jeseníky Mountains is the most norhern mountain range of Czech Republic, containing Hrubý Jeseník and the respective parts of Hanušovice and Zlaté Hory Highlands of total area of 74 000 ha. It was declared here the birds reservation area Jeseníky
(52228 ha) and important birds area Jeseníky (74391 ha).

Bruntál district
This path passes through nature monument Staré Hliniště, It is situated in distance of two kilometres from Krnov city centre. You can find here rare and threatened sorts of animals and plants. Moderate shadow belt of this area forms perfect conditions for planting of rare Turk´s cap and many other menaced sorts of plants. Near to the water, you can find yellow iris and on meadows other rare plants.
On the other hand, the reptiles have excellent conditions for their developlemt, as, for instance, adders or green tree-frogs or great and mountain water-newts. Along the path, you can find ten stops altogether. The route is suitable for foot passengers as well as for cyclists. The path is open for public all year round.
