One of latest stops of our walking along glacier ski winter resorts will be dedicated to Pitztal in Tirol, placed in the same valley, borderd with Otztal Alps massif. The valley, situated 60 kms in western direction from Innsbruck, is 45 kms long and its dominanta is Wildspitze Mountain, with its 3770 m the second highest mountain in Austria.

This article could be characterised in following way: Best of Dolomites.... There are several reasons for this affirmation. Anyway, Marmolada is an idea between Alps ski resorts. The view to the biggest peak, Queen of Dolomites, foresees that there are fruitful fields for skiing here. This young ski-discipline was created in a period when skiing, thanks to freestyle and acrobatic skiing, became to be popular again. A special line is built for skicross, containing starting block on start sloping drive. Further, big jumps, double jumps, successive jumps, drops (jumps downstairs) and turned over curves (bendings) follow.

Winter season in this year is, however, too mild, and not too favourable for skiing. You have to look for the snow and skiing possibilities abroad where the conditions for your activities are more favouirable as in Czech Republic. Backflip is an effective matter, it seems to be very simple. Nevertheless, we should have some experience in flip, some safety (guarantee) in the air. Well, let´s try it, we shall see! Let´s find a middle big jump, which we have proved (tested) and know how quick we enter, in order to jump (flip) down to the fall.

On carving-ski, a binding-support there has to be fixed. It has several functions: increased pose extends possible angle of ski-inclination ( angularity) on descent route. Thanks to this support, we can reach required inclination without undesirable contact of boots with a slope leading to corner-upseting.

Jibbing is a drive on railings, various boxes and similar obstacles. We recommend to beginners, to start your activity on low boxes (it will have bigger stability) as on round rail. The boxes have its width of 30 cm approx.

"Alps Slopes - Czech Level of Prices" - so you can characterise the skiing in Slovenia. It is true that this region does not belong to absolute cheapest destinations as far as the prices are concerned. Anyway, Slovemia is unjustly omitted ski-resort territory. In spite of this, many very good profi-skiiers triumphed in World Cup competitions during last year and at present.
