Šumava (Bohemian Forest) - Czech republic
Bohemian Forest is one of the oldest mountain range of Europa. It is a biggest Natural Park in Czech Republic (69 030 ha). Bohemian Forest is situated on the Border of Czech Republic with Germany and Austria. It is formed by rocks of Primary mountains origin. As Natural Park it was declared in 1991. There are many monuments here. The tourists have choice for spending of nice holidays as in winter as in summer. The highest point of Šumava names Plechý (1378 m).

Ski Area Zadov - Nové Hutě

Region of South Bohemia, Prachatice district
This ski centre is placed not far from the community of Kvilda, Region of South Bohemia, Bohemian Forest, in an altitude of 1020 metres above sea level. You find there ski-lifts and ski slopes, suitable for beginners and not too experienced and advanced skiers, with excellent conditions for ski learning and trainings.
Ski Area Zadov-Nové Hutě offers in winter the services, as follows:
- two ski descent routes, one of them is destined for kids
- two ski-towages, one of them is destined for children
- ski running routes. You find there optimal conditions, joining long distance route
Kvilda-Horská Kvilda-Churáňov
- from upper ski-lift station you find very well arran´ged route Zlatá Studna-Přilba-Rozcestí nad Starými Hutěmi-Pláně, the route is reserve for ski-skaters, too

During summer season, the resort is offering:
- excursions and wandering tours to surrounding or distant areas
- cycling on well arranged routes
- under favourbale weather conditions, you can bath in the environs of Nové Hutě, or to make an excursion towards Lipno Dam
