The representative chateau structure was built at the beginning of the 19th century by Jan Rudolf Chotek and became the home of the nearby Nové Dvory chateau. The extensive arched building was situated on the formerly created botanical garden, from which the chateau park became a chateau and today it is a nature trail. The Kačina Chateau houses the Museum of the Czech Countryside - a branch of the National Agricultural Museum. It offers several sightseeing tours, thematic exhibitions and many events throughout the year.
