CZ: Loučeň - The Castle, Where It Lives
heading (paragraph): Towns
Loučeň, a small town, but correct township, is located just 12 kilometres from Nymburk, dominated by the castle. In a place that once belonged to the Thurn-Taxis, enmeshed in the amount of garden labyrinths and baroque style it lives throughout the year.
Nymburk is a district town in Central Bohemia, and remains probably for ever in a shade of near Poděbrady Spa. The colonnade or healing springs are missing there but another places of interest which are to be admired, are available in sufficient number, such as, for instance, medioeval fortificatioms of Postřižiny Beer.
Pardubice, a Region town, is located in distance of more than one hundred of kilometres from Prague. The locality became famous through Great Pardubice Steeplechase, honey-gingerbread, and also by Paramo Refinery Station or Synthesia Factory Complex.
Flawless example of that how heritage hundreds of years old can be attract. Loučeň Castle is the epitome of well-realized investment plan. Reconstruction of a few years ago was a lot of money, so the castle has to earn money somehow.
