REGION OF LIBEREC

Region of Liberec is situated  in the North of Czech Republic. It is quite important area from the point of view of  travel  business and it is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.

Mountaneous landscape of Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), Lužické and Jizerské Mountains  presents many occassions for walking touristic activity as well as for cycling. This area becomes  in winter a centre with numerous skiing possibilities. The descending tracks of various difficulty  stages are well arranged and series of runner tracks give full satisfaction to  all sportsmen. The region has, regarding sports, an important  position in Czech Republic. You can find the ski-platforms in Harrachov and on Ještěd.

The landscape is enriched with many natural places of interest, water areas, small rivers, historical monuments and out-look towers.

To the beautiful holiday spots belong  the Mácha lake and Bohemian Paradise – wonderful area.
