The region of Vysočina is situated  along the border of Bohemia and Moravia. It is neighbouring with the Region of Pardubice, South Moravian Region, South Bohemian Region and Central Bohemian Region. It is one of three inland regions.

Drive to Pernštejn castle

This route belongs to those of middle difficulty stage. The tour could be started from the town of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, following marked tourist trail No.1 up to the villages of Věchnov and Býkovec. You enter nature park Svratecká Highlands and drive ahead to Gothic Castle of Pernstein. This building attracts you, for sure, with its unique architectonical structure of castle buildings, historical interiors as well as romantic views. After sightseeing, you drive, following marked cycling route No. 5130, passing the village of Jabloňov. On your right side, you pass by the village of Rožná and arrive to Bukov, continuing via  communities of Horní and Dolní Rozsička and Blažkov. You can visit Šiklův Mlýn (Šikl Mill), situated on your left side. Further, you turn aside in the community of Olešenka to marked cycling route No. 5061, via villages of Zvole (with very interesting church), Blažejovice and Domanínek you return back to Vystřice nad Pernštejnem.
