SK, Hadviga – Lost Settlement of Turciany
heading (paragraph): Places Of Interest
No. of pictures: 55 pictures

Accept the invitation to take a walk in the now defunct settlement of Hadvig, which was founded by German colonists as early as 1392, but was displaced due to tragic events during World War II. In 1954 it became part of the village Brieštie (district Turičanské Teplice). The territory of the defunct settlement currently has a cottage character, you will find a simple Roman Catholic church from the early 20th century, a wooden bell tower and several beautiful corners. You will connect to the most important tourist highway in Slovakia, the Way of the Heroes of SNP.
