Maldives I: Atoll Malé

It is the only official city of the archipelago in the Indian Ocean and dubbed his Manhattan Maldives. This is because high-rise buildings are the only possible way on a small island and perfectly built to cope with the growing population of the city.

All the local islands has common the “kitschy” beautiful coast with white, coral sand and coconut palms, which are bending over clear blue sea. Sand spit, coral reefs and shoals are milky blue paradise of wild marine life and divers.

Like Ari Atoll, and here you will find truly sumptuous resorts, as well as small bungalows middle category, which are very nice and quite cheaper. Specialty of Atoll Malé, specifically its capital city, is the ability to go into the depths of the sea in a sightseeing submarine. This takes you to the depth of 35 meters and you will be able to watch 45 minutes sharks and schools of colourful fish as they arrive to feed.
