While in the past there were up to 12 towns (bridges and fords) on the Austrian-Slovak border, where it was possible to cross the Morava River, during the period of the so-called not a single road bridge survived the Iron Curtain. The only exception was the railway bridge between Devínská Nová Ves and the town of Marchegg, but it also operated only in a limited mode.

Marchfeldkanal – this is the name of a new cycling trail built between Bratislava and Vienna. The trail is 61 kilometers long. It has been renovated for 3 years.
Those who love riding on a bicycle will soon have the chance to enjoy a unique 230-kilometer biking trail. It will link Slovakian and Polish border towns and villages. This new trail should significantly boost local tourist industry.
As for castles, Slovakia could be considered one of the richest countries. The new book by Dajama publishing caught our interest for its links tours to castles and active rest.
Vsichni Na Bajk, an unusual competition, has been a success. It's second year is being held this year and competitors use a mobile app to participate.
