However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I was wrong and there is still something new to discover. My next destination was the western corner of Nepal. This time my paths led to one of Nepal's largest lakes, Lake Rara.

Today's destination is the city of Rockford, which is appreciated for its charm. The Rock River flows through Rockford. On the right bank there is, for example, Riverfront Museum Park, which includes the Burpee Museum of Natural History, which we highly recommend. It was opened in 1942.

More and more sunny days, but also the ongoing security measures regarding the situation with Covid-19, which prevents us from traveling abroad, result in an increasing interest in trips in the beautiful Czech countryside. However, this also causes an extreme increase in the number of people in the most famous tourist places and roads. So where to go and avoid the crowd? Come with us to the Jeseníky Mountains. On the 60-kilometer route, you can relax from the city parks, enjoy the fresh air without a curtain and you will meet a larger concentration of tourists practically only in the vicinity of Králický Sněžník.

Today we will go back in time together. We will visit the area inland, which is about 2 hours drive from the capital Muscat. These are the ancient towns of Al-Hamra and Misfat Al-Abreyeen. We park and everywhere is deserted and empty.

At the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass in the Mustang district, on the famous route around Annapurna, lies the famous pilgrimage site of Muktinath. Why famous? Muktinath is one of the oldest inhabited areas in the Himalayas, worshiped by both Hindus and Buddhists. Every year, a large number of pilgrims from all over Nepal, India and the rest of the world come here to wash in the sacred baths. Buddhists believe that in Muktinath, the Indian mudr Padmasambhava, better known in the Himalayan regions as Guru Rinpoche, who brought Buddhism to Tibet in the year 747.

Our last day in Malaysia has come. We don't want to go too far from Kuala Lumpur and we also enjoyed the beaches a lot, so we will visit the city of Putrajaya. It has served as a federal territory since 2001 and is the planned capital and administrative center of Malaysia. The seat of government moved here as early as 1999 due to the congestion of the existing capital Kuala Lumpur. However, the king, parliament and embassies are still based here.

Today's next chapter of exploring Raleigh begins with a visit to the Marbles Kids Museum, where adults are sure to enjoy. The museum is full of various interactive exhibits. For example, on such a "music playground" TreeTunes, children can create various musical melodies and try out instruments such as a xylophone, banjo, bells and more. In the STEMOsphere room, children can explore the secrets of math and put together various puzzles. In the children's garden they will learn how to take care of plants and nature. The icing on the cake is a cinema hall with IMAX technology with a screen more than 21 meters wide, where popular educational films are shown.

The sobering-up station provides sanctuary for elephants who have fallen into poacher traps or other difficulties. They use their own elephants, who are very ethically trained here (do not really expect any circus, here it helps). Injured elephants are undergoing rehabilitation and, if possible, their return to nature. The station also takes care of moving elephants due to the ever-increasing agricultural area. The employees are doing a really beautiful job here, be sure to come to support them.

After hot days on the sunny island of Langkawi, we move to the coldest area of our journey - the Cameron Highlands. Located at a higher altitude, there are lower temperatures, which is a bit unusual for us in Malaysia. But it is nothing dramatic, the windbreaker and long pants are enough for morning and evening. Our destination for the next two nights is the city of Tanah Rata, which will also serve as a starting point for our two scheduled trips.
