It has been a long time since we were in Poland. Today we go the village of Jablonka. For us Slovaks this village means affordable shopping. In today’s article we will tell you more about its history and also some tips for treks around.
Who doesn’t know the most famous marketplace in Poland, Nowy Targ?! Thousands of people go there twice a week to buy cheaper goods. Even we would like to present you this city not only as a marketplace but also as a historical and attractive tourist destination. A destination that has busy life.
Cracow was Polish capital in past. Now, this city belongs to most beautiful architectonical jewels of Europe. The whole town is respiring with Middle Age, and such impression is stressed even with unusual big number of green surface which is frequently missing in big towns.
When I invented next theme for the trip around places of interest of the world, I said that (after our last excursion at antipodes' territory ) this time our excursionn could be less difficult, so, that we could move in the neighbouring states.

Oswiecim (Auschwitz) is the biggest concentration camp of Europe, where the final solution of Jewish question was let to its nearly perfect finish. The Germans murded there - in the course of 1940-1945 - one million and one hundred thousands of people!
Warsaw is a capital and the greatest town in Poland at the same time. The town has two millions of inhabitants and is placed along banks of Wisla-river.
Would you like to visit a place which was written with black letters into modern history? Do you have a feeling that „holocaust“ is a legend? So, would you visit concentration lagers Oswiecim I and Oswiecim II- Brezinka, (Birkenau) exterminated lager for death, destined from Czech borders not more than 100 kilometres.
The university town of Cracow is a metropolis of Small Poland Dukedom in South Poland, inhabited with 800000 people. It is marvellous historical town friendly sympathized with artists and busy cultural life, and local people who are ready to keep their old customs and traditional ceremonies.
Why not to go to Poland ? In past, we went there for shopping. The excursions to the seashores were effected seldom, anyway, it has its magic. But, frankly speaking, who prefers Baltic sea which is too cold ? The times are changing, so more excursions with paddles appear. First, we discovered lakes area which are Mazury Lakes in north eastern part of the country.
