River description:
The river sources below Bukovina Hill in Spišská Magura Mountain Range. It flows mostly to the north, and after the community of Spišská Stará Ves, it mouths into Dunajec-river from right side. Its river bed takes 64 square kilometres, the navigable section is 9 kms long. Rieka flows, in its navigable section, mostly throughout narrow river-bed of 3-5 m width. Its banks are overgrown with many obstacles. However, flow slope is unsettled, easy stony rapids change with slate thresholds of different heights and cascades. In the community, the banks are connected with many low foot-bridges.
