River description:
This river is created with confluence of several brooks on north slopes of Slovak Ore Mountains. It flows throughouit Starovodska Valley to thed north and mouths into Hnilec-river from its right side. Its river-bed takes 33 km², the length of navigable section makes 6 kms.
The brook overcomes, inside relatively narrow river bed, relatively remarkable slope, with rocky thresholds and jumps. Its flow is winding (zigzag) and in dense forest quite unclear. Unpleasant surprise is made by fallen trees and barricades with sharp windings. You meet nature dam, accumulated from boulders, where the water flows throughout narrow chinks. Your safety during navigation will be better when necessary route investigation on spot, or navigation from banks are to be effected.
