This small river sources in table land below Kalidlo Hill in East Slovakia. Its river basin in Slovak territory takes 193 km², the navigable section makes 6 kms.
At the beginning of navigable flow-section, Ublianka river meandres throughout meadows, but in its further flow, it flows through rapid-sections.
