The bike season is about to start. It is about the highest time to take out your bike from the garage or basement. Wash it, oil it, pump the air into the tire and set of for an adventure. Those who love to explore the world on bike there are couple of interested theme trails in Austria.

Lower Austria is the place which offers a number of bike trails. Just choose the one which fits your idea of difficulty or setting. Go and explore the trails for one-day long trips. You ride across fabulous wine-growing region, across historical place, beautiful vistas, along the water, or to fascinating cultural places. The trips we are going to recommend for you are not more than a day-long ride. There are many stops and you won’t need any luggage with.

There is one new theme trail in the Vienna Woods – in the region of Thermenregion – which is devoted to culture, spas, and wine. Its proximity to Vienna and great atmosphere is the combination which allows you to enjoy beautiful nature, landmarks as well as rest in spas or wine cellars. However, we should warn you that once you taste wine don’t get on the bike any longer.

Traisental-Radweg trail is just perfect for explorers and adventurers. You can enjoy wine, fun at bathing, or boat cruises. Great enjoyment will experience those who have not yet seen white tigers, cringe for a ride on all-year-open bobsleigh circuit or simply love culture and wine cellars. The best place to start the exploration of Traisental valley is from Wilhelmsburg.

For people who love panoramas and the mountains, we recommend the trail from theBuckelige Welt mountains to Semmering, another place where you can enjoy epic vistas. River valley, mountainous terrain and unforgettable Vienna Alps. These are all going to enchant you. Bikers who love adventure would enjoy the views of monumental summits such as Rax, Schneeberg, and Wechsel. Taking a pool in the largest karst cave in Lower Austria is like icing on a cake after a great trip.

To conclude, we take you to marshlands, deep woods, and crimson poppy fields. You start at Gmünd, a small town near the border. In Upper Waldviertel you ride on moderate highlands across wonderful bottomland landscape. There are evergreen forests and you ride also by granite rocks. Waldviertel is interesting and there are many historical places and their thrilling stories. Bikers can therefore enjoy great ride with a surprise at every corner. There is the oldest beer brewery in Austria, Käsemacherwelt cheese factory in Heidenreichstein or UnterWasserReich Schrems water world and other interesting places worth of dismounting your bike.
