When I tought Hobart there was absolutely nothing going on in Hobart, Launceston at first seemed even worse. Soon I found out this sleepy town has many interesting nooks and can be quite interesting. Nice houses, brick factories, churches, brewery, a river full of pelicans, and a large city park which holds Japanese macaques. Moreover, Tamar Valley, a vineyard area, is just around the corner.

We will not leave the Trnava region even this Monday and visit the village of Buková, whose buildings are at the bottom of the distinctive Bukovská basin. In the eastern part of the village, the area narrows into a deep gorge surrounded by limestone hills. In the cadastre of this village there are up to five cottage areas - Závršie, Hrnčeková dolina, U Maruše, Bílá Hora and Hrudky, so it is clear at first glance that it is a popular cottage, tourist and mushroom locality.

It is 9 p.m. Streets are almost empty yet you are in Tasmania's largest city which is home to almost quarter of million people. The reason is simple - the city is so vast nobody stays in downtown in the evening. However, it is quite lively and busy during the day. Still, this is a noise and business of a quiet harbor city where is no reason to hurry. Apart from rising number of tourists, there are no radiant tomorrows for the city iteslf.

Today's tip for a trip will be Lakšárská Nová Ves, a village located in the southwestern part of Slovakia, in the middle of the Záhorská lowland, in the Morava river basin. It is 17 km away from the district town of Senica and consists of two cadastral areas, namely Lakšárská Nová Ves and Mikulášov. Perhaps you wonder why we include the tiny state of Monaco to our series on France. Yet while travelling along the French Riviera you can hardly miss it. Casino, luxurious yachts and hotels, Formula 1, and tax paradise. These are common stereotypes about world’s second smallest country. And they are true. I thought that I would not find a country which is more diverse than Scotland or Iceland. I was wrong. Tasmanie is an island south from Australia. It is almost as large as the Czech Republic. After last week's visit to Bohdanoviec nad Trnavou, we will cross the bridge to the neighboring village of Šelpice. They are only 6 km northwest of the regional city of Trnava. They became famous mainly due to embroidery, viticulture and theater activities of local amateurs.

Today we will end our walk around Dolný Kubín with a visit to monuments, attractions or sports grounds located just a short distance from the historic center. From the Town Hall, we headed back to Kohútový sady, where, in addition to a parking lot with a pleasant café, there is also an eye-catching rectory building with a garden.

A week ago, we ended our walk through Dolný Kubín in the so-called Kohútový sad. Let's continue to the pedestrian zone of the historic center, which decorates the beautiful Hviezdoslav Square. It consists of a terraced development of colorful burgher houses used as retail space and for the purposes of restaurants or offices.

Nusa Penida is situated southeast from very famous Indonesian island of Bali. It features regular ferry lines. Tourist infrastructure there is quite underdeveloped yet it has been improving. Should you prefer less tourist crowded areas and you like amazing vistas and great beaches, I recommend you to spend there three days at least.
