About 35 kilometres to east of Prague lies an inconspicuous village Přerov above Labe. The main tourist attraction is the local museum - the oldest in the country and the fourth oldest in Europe. Let´s go there with us.
About 35 kilometres to east of Prague lies an inconspicuous village Přerov above Labe - to first glanc seems to be adjusted, but when one observe more, looks as all others - a bit sloppy. The main tourist attraction is the local museum - the oldest in the country and the fourth oldest in Europe. Experts call it officially as the Elbe ethnographic museum. About it a local take care as gem.
About Přerov nad Labem recently discussed mainly in connection with a local chateau. Till recently was officially owned by the Czech Radio, today, just speculation about the new owner. Nobody has anything, nobody knows anything.
Poděbrady returns to its past glory of the First Republic time. At least it everything suggests. Compared to previous years this city greatly revived. It is full of people, full of fun and places where it is possible to go.
Landscape, known from the film Little Village, in which Rudolf Hrušínský as doctor enjoyed a fairytale land, is breathtaking. Really. Also villages that fit into it, they can mesmerize his appearance, but also which way people live there. One such village is Neveklov.
Taken its area Vesec is almost unnoticeable. Still it is a distinct village near Sobotka. It is located on the edge of the Bohemian Paradise Protected Area. It is a true paradise for filmmakers and tourists despite you wouldn’t find here a pub or a refreshments stand.
Interesting and picturesque town is located on a border of two regions – Prague East and Kolin. According to the authorities, it used to be part of Kolin. However, few years ago somebody decided that Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy would far better if it is closer to Prague. So now it is definitively in the Prague East district.
The chateau in Brandys nad Labem had liked most significant Czech sovereigns. Bred him so that at his summer residence near Prague felt as possible. Now the result of their effort is available to us, the ordinary folk.
