On the territory of the South Moravian village Mikulčice there is one of the most important archeological sites in the Czech Republic, which is undoubtedly related to the early history of our state. Hradiště belonged to the important fortifications of the settlements of Great Moravia and was one of the important centers of power and spirituality. The Holedná game reserve is absolutely exceptional, because not only children but also adults have the opportunity to see and admire the life of wildlife with their own eyes, as it is a purpose-built hunting facility used for professional breeding of mouflon and fallow deer on an area of 327 ha. Although the game reserve is thoroughly fenced on all sides so that the animals do not escape, the whole area looks very large and unrestrained.
