Moreover, cross-country skiing is great and we recommend you a trek in the Jizerske Mountains. You would be headed from Horni Polubne to Bedrichov. This trek is of middle-difficulty. It is from 24 to 30 kilometres long (depending on what trail you choose). So how to do this?

The Mala Fatra is a known and renown area. We hardly need to introduce it to you. This mountain range, along the High, Western, and Low Tatras, is considered one of the most beautiful and most visited mountain ranges in Slovakia. In the article today, we take you on a winter hike onto the main ridge of the Mala Fatra and its second highest peak of Maly Krivan.
The Brdy is a place to visit not only in summer. They are magical as well when covered in snow. Both Houpak and the former Jordan impact area were only recently opened to the public. Houpak is an ideal place with perfect panoramatic vista. People who like long trips will love it here.

Immediately behind the village is the settlement Velky Reckov, here we park and we take a short walk through a national natural monument named Klokocka. The area has been protected since 1956 due to the presence of rare and endangered species of plants and animals.
Although the closure lags behind the highest peaks in Brdy, thanks to its convenient location near Skelná Hut and Pilská Reservoir, it is also an ideal place for a shorter winter cross-country trip.
The Western Tatras are a magical mountain range that offers many outdoor activities to lovers of outdoor activities. Hiking and more and more popular skialpinist tours can only be done in certain areas of the mountain range. An interesting locality that can be visited in winter is the Holy Hill.
