The historical building of the museum has several floors full of lace products and works of art. Only the expert's eye knows what kind of lace there is. The methods of lace-making are quite a lot. The lace may be sewn, bobbin, crocheted, knitted, embroidered or machine-made, and each steady pattern has its specific name. Where the lace-making technique of the Venetians once discovered, it is not documented, but the lace has been cultivated in terms of technique and patterns.
