In the second half of the 19th century, King Ludwig II ruled Bavaria. After his rule, our western neighbors were left with an unfinished mansion, designed as a copy of French Versailles, remained on Chiemsee island. It doesn't matter that it's just a torso of the original plans. The perfect blend of beautiful natural habitat, opulent castle and gardens with the exciting story of an eccentric monarch attracts right attention.
Today we will visit the third largest federal state in the south-west of Germany, namely Baden-Württemberg, whose capital is Stuttgart, but our goal will be the university city of Tübingen, which is located around the Neckar river.
After a week we return to Trier. After getting acquainted with its history we set out to visit the sights. Our first stop is the best preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps - Porta Nigra.
trips to Europe will lead us today to the West German town of Trier in Rhineland-Palatinate. One of the oldest urban settlements in Germany is of rich history, a number of architectural treasures and several attractions that we will gradually discover.
Wooden beams on red, blue or yellow Italian-style houses lining narrow streets. Purple flowers decorating the walls and looking like falling rain. Panorama of Alpine giants and their snow-caped summits and the Bodensee coastline. Refreshing ice cream, rays of setting sun and quietly rising moon above the horizon.
For a pleasant stroll along the coastal promenade and a touch of history do not look just for the Mediterranean sea. If you like a lighter climate, head to the Baltic Sea. One of the options is the city of Rostock. And today we take a walk in its downtown.

The Warnemünde resort offers not only walks along the beach, water sports and lounging on white sand on the Baltic Sea. Take a stroll down the promenade to its center and enjoy the romance and lively rush of the old fishing village or harbor.
This time we will explore the southeast of Germany. Bavaria. We will visit remarkable towns, natural monuments and tourist attractions. So sit back comfortably and read the lines to follow.
We will proceed in our journey across Bavaria today. Our pilgrimage begins on the shores of Lake Königssee, where we board the boat and enjoy a cruise on the mirroring surface surrounding the Berchtesgaden National Park.

Germany has many interesting and famous places for which their architecture is typical. The lesser known town in the state of Hesse, which lies on the highway between Passau and the Netherlands, is no exception. If you are passing by, take a break into the small town called Limburg an der Lahn and relax in the romantic streets of the city.
There is still a seaside atmosphere on the Baltic coast. The heart of Rostock belongs to the navy, and this great romantic atmosphere is even more enhanced by sunset while walking through the city harbor.
