Slovakia is a country with great nature, majestic mountains and picturesque valley. In winter, there are unusual contrast sceneries. It is breathtaking. Just slow down for a while and enjoy a fly over Slovakia and its mountains like High Tatras, Low Tatras, Low and High Fatra or Pieniny. A diverse mosaic of natural attractions and cultural and historical monuments is concentrated in Slovakia. It is therefore clear that this variety and diversity is also reflected in phenomena and phenomena that have something magical, mysterious or mysterious in them.
100 years ago, the magazine Krásy Slovenska was founded, to this day the oldest continuously published magazine in Slovakia. It is dedicated to the natural beauties and cultural attractions of Slovakia, tourism, tourism, mountaineering, caving, nature conservation and traditions.

There are many beautiful places in eastern Slovakia, we visit one of them today. We stop in the town of Smolnik, Gelnica District. It has rich mining history, unusual architectonic sights, and it is surrounded with beautiful nature ideal to have a nice hike.

Christmas and New Year, we celebrated with my husband´s parents in the Eastern Slovakian town Sabinov.
