Region of Banská Bystrica - Slovakia
Banska Bystrica Region is located in south part of Central Slovakia, and with its extent of 9445 square kilometres is greatest area of the Republic. On south, it borders with Hungary, on west with Nitra and Trenčín regions, on north with Žilina and Prešov regions, and, finally, on east with Košice region.

Číž Nature Iodin Spa is situated in South Slovakia, Rimavska Sobota district, not far distant from Hungarian border. Healing complex is placed in decorated forest-park. It was established thanks to discovery of salted iodin-bromine water. Hygiea spring is being used for healing purposes. It includes middle mineralized healing water with contains of salt, iodine, lithium and bromine. Thanks to its mineral composition, it ranks with rare springs of Europe.
The spring sources from depth of 15,5 metres, at 18°C temperature. This spa is specialized for treatment of neurological diseases and diseases of moving apparatus. The visitors can use so called water world, wellness, of also an offer of relax sporting activities.
