Picturesque community of Štefanová (it is a quarter of Terchová-village) is situated inside marvellous nature, below majestic peak of Great Rozsutec Mountain. It is frequent starting or target point of many tourists, who came into such characteristic countryside of Small Fatra National Park, in order to get new energy and power or to find calm inside mountains.
Everybody, who welcomes there, he would be recommended to visit a system of clefts and canyons, named after Juraj Jánošík, well-known Slovak brigand from Terchová. Janošikove diery (Janošík Holes) are situated in Kriváň Small Fatra, and are consisted from three sections. You can find there tourist trails with tree-bridges, ladders and chains, which help you to pass Dolné diery, Nové diery and Horné diery. Janošíkove diery were formed with Dierovy torrent, where the tourists can admire more than twenty waterfalls of Dierovy torrent.
Who would be exhausted with tourist activity, there is another tip for visit of some interesting locality. In the neighbourhood of the community of Zázrivá, you can find very nice complex of wooden houses, known as Janošikov dvor (Janošík Courtyard). Except excellent meals of Slovak kitchen, pleasant attendance as well as reasonable prices, you can expect really wide offer of active relax. So, you can fully enjoy your tired body in Finnish sauna, via relax in whirlpool up to rest during classical massage operation or possibility to jump and train your „muscle fever“ from a tour on trampoline, or playing volleyball match with your friends. Nevertheless, the biggest temptation for small children as well as for adults would be the first Slovak 18 holes adventure golf playground. In general, it is classical golf playground, reduced into dimension of mini-golf lines, full of inequalities, elevations or sandy and terrain barriers.
