It is situated in the northeastern part of Czech Republic. It is a territory with high developped mining, metalurgy, machinery and chemical industry. Unfortunately, in consequence of presence of these heavy industries, came to the pollution of living environment.

Path Cvilín is specialized for ecologia. It passes mostly throughout forest trails, partially also along marked cyclo-route. If you walk along, you can visit a ruin of Selenburg or Cvilín look-out-tower (from here, you can enjoy marvellous views towards Poland). Surrounding forests are mixed and you can find here oaks, beech-trees, maples, linden-trees as well as other sorts. On this route, you pass two ponds, where you can watch water birds. This path could be visited at any time during the year. It is suitable for foot passengers, and for cyclists, too.
