REGION OF PILSEN
You find this region on South-west of the country. There are missing the towns of medium greatness here, therefore the natural centre of all concentration in the region there is the town of Pilsen, well-known throughout the world with its production of beer.

Pilsen is at the same time an important traffic junction and takes a strategic position in connection East-West of Europe.
The visitors and the inhabitants of towns can go to theatres, cinemas, galeries, museums, ruins and castles, as this region has rich cultural tradition and variegated cultural life.
The town of Domažlice is quite popular by the visiters, 
as there are taken place „Chodské festivity“ (wonderful national costumes) or zoological or botanical garden in Pilsen.
The other interesting places of a region there are the lakes of glacier origin in Šumava (Bohemian Forest), catacombs in Klatovy, the tradition of glass production in Železná Ruda or the production of safety matches in Sušice.
You find the good conditions for sports in the region, in summer for tourist walking and cycling and in winter for descend as well as run skiing – as it is interfering the hills of Brdy (from Central Bohemia) and Šumana-Bohemian Forest (from South Bohemia).
