It is situated in the northeastern part of Czech Republic. It is a territory with high developped mining, metalurgy, machinery and chemical industry. Unfortunately, in consequence of presence of these heavy industries, came to the pollution of living environment.

Velka kotlina is very important area in Central Europe, from naturalist point of view. You can find here a lot of animal sorts as well as plants sorts. This area takes (in Giant Mountains - Jeseníky Mountains system) its first place.
Sunshine, water, snow and soil form basin reason for variegation of this area. You can see here such plants, which are not appearing on another places. Do not forget, please that this is strictly preserved territory and you have to behave with responsibility.The path has middle stage of difficulty and it is not accessible during winter saison.
