Semily

The town of Semily, with 9000 inhabitants, is situated in Liberec Region on Jizera river. The first written notice comes of 1352. The original community was a seat of aristocracy.
They let built here a stronghold, rebuilt later to a castle. The towm as well as a castle was in a possession of Smiřický-Parentage, later of Albrecht of Wallenstein and Rohan Parentage.
Česká Lípa

The original community was situated outer bailey of water castle Lipý. As a town, it was created in second half of 13th century. First written notice comes of 1337 in old documents.
The town was placed on important merchant road, thanks to this fact, the handicraft started to develop.
Turnov

The town of Turnov is situated in Jičín-highland on Jizera-river. The town belongs to one of most important railway junctions of Liberec region. Its nickame is „Heart of Bohemian Paradise“. In the surroundings it is to be found so called red garnet classifying with our national treasuries. The manufacturing of jewels of this stone made the town of Turnov famous all round the world.
Frýdlant

The town of Frýdlant is to be found at the edge of Jizerské hory in a headland of Frýdlant in an altitude of 295 m. The river Smědá is flowing through the town. According to the legend the town gained its name thanks one man, who obtained seven acres of field for his sons. The man named this place as Viederland, what means in German „protect the land“.
Štěpánka, looking-out-tower

The looking-out-.tower height of 24 m , nicknamed as „The Queen of Jizerské Mountains“ is situated on the hill of name Hvězda ( Star) – 959 m - near to community of Příchovice.
Štěpánka is the oldest looking-out-tower of Jizerské Mountains and is constructed on Neogothic style from bricks and sandstone.
