Infofest 2018 – Seek the Path, Find the Destination

The Infoglobe website in the cooperation with the town of Liptovsky Mikulas, organizes the first annual Infofest international travel festival, which will take place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of July on Namesti Osvoboditelu and in Liptovsky Mikulas convention center.

The Infofest 2018 festival will bring lectures by professional travelers about famous and unknown places from all over the world. Visitors will hear about Venice, Tibet, Thailand, India, New Zealand, Alaska and the Arctic Circle or Siberia. No less attractive will be to hear about fascinating travel experiences from Norway, Albania, Cuba, Chile and Colombia. Also, you will learn about Slovakia. You will not only hear about interesting tips for hikes in the Tatra mounains but also get some knowledge on uniqueness of the Spis region.

The above mentioned Spis presentation will be connected with ceremonial launch of a new tourist guide book from the publishing house of Dajama. Exceptional experience for visitors to the festival will be unique 3D presentations, on which will put special glasses and will travel in space. Those more competitive of you will surely like "Did You Know Europe?" quiz. The best ones will win beautiful prizes in the form of social games and books. At the festival, you will also learn about a knowledge contest which is great for every cyclist - Everyone on the Bike, as well as about the Mental Power Festival dedicated to the artistic self-realization of people with disabilities.

Apart from lectures, there will be many other things to do. Take a look at the short travel videos from home and abroad, guided tours of Liptovsky Mikulas, infostands with tips on trips or Karel Kobell's photo expo which reveals the magic of landscape photography. For all festival visitors, the organizers prepared an evaluation poll. Those who join it will be included on both festival days to contests for great prizes (Swiss watches, tablets, tourist books, vouchers, etc.). Children will surely enjoy face painting or a bounce castle, where they can really have some fun.

The icing on the cake will be a musical performance by the folk group Majerán, singer Claar, the band ABBA Stars, and Verona band. Peter Nagy and the Indigo group will take care of the final stage of the festival. Marian Galajda will be the host.
