DAJAMA publishing is well known among fans of travel, history, nature, tourism, biking, and other outdoor activities. It publishes the oldest magazine in Slovakia - Krasy Slovenska. Already three generations in my family like it. My granddad read it, my father is subscribed to it. And me and my husband lend the magazine from my father. Even our traveller’s website Infoglobe works together with it. It is a unique magazine in which our interesting catalogues are regularly published.
For several years the DAJAMA publishing publishes books on Slovakian sights and it also made several successful series. The Most Beautiful Ridges, a book we will tell you more about in this article, belongs to the Across Slovakia series (other books from this collection are: The Most Beautiful Walks, The Most Beautiful Bike Trails – South West, Observation Towers, The Most Beautiful Car Routes ). The book would certainly attract all fans of hiking.

The book was written by Tomas Trstensky, Daniel Kollar and Karol Mizla . They tried to give equal space to mountain trails in individual Slovakian mountains . They attempted to choose really the most wonderful ridge trail with picturesque sights. They ended with the number 19.
This book will introduce you trails that you can manage in just one day except for multiple-days hikes that are regarded the best. The former are less known but they will attract you with their uniqueness and beauty. We should remember very interesting but pretty long one-day ridge trip on the Cergov.
