In the northeast of the Slovak Ore Mountains there is the Slovensky Raj nature park. It was founded in 1988. Its purpose is to protect rare karst formations such as canyons or gorges. Yet there is also rare flora and fauna. Our photogallery is a trip to one of the most frequented places of this green world - you will walk through Prulom Hornadu, the area surrounding Cingov and also the famous Tomasovsky scenic view.

In the eastern Slovak in Spiš area is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges - Slovak Paradise, which since 1988 declared as a National Park. In the rugged area laced with ravines, streams and waterfalls are hidden gorge, which is really worth seeing.
We recently had a nice hiking tour in the Slovak Paradise National Park and now you come with us. The starting point is the Podlesok recreation area, from where you will follow the blue-marked hiking trail to the Hrdlo Hornád crossroads.
At a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has affected not only our health but also our economy, including travel, it is difficult to plan a holiday or relax for the following year. Not everyone dares to travel to the sea or to exotics. But don't despair, because the Czechia and neighboring Slovakia offer a lot of experiences and relaxation surrounded by nature.
100 years ago, the magazine Krásy Slovenska was founded, to this day the oldest continuously published magazine in Slovakia. It is dedicated to the natural beauties and cultural attractions of Slovakia, tourism, tourism, mountaineering, caving, nature conservation and traditions.
After past trips to nature, today we will focus on the remarkable cities of the Prešov region, which are decorated with unique sights. We will go to the village of Žehra, where we will visit a unique church, take a walk to the medieval Spiš Castle and not miss modern art in Medzilaborce.
After visiting the Čermeľ Valley, the Gothic Way or the bike path to Kojšovská hoľa, today we will focus on other attractive places in the Košice region. We will discover the beauty of the underground, a unique mansion, a magnificent zoo, and even a geyser.
A diverse mosaic of natural attractions and cultural and historical monuments is concentrated in Slovakia. It is therefore clear that this variety and diversity is also reflected in phenomena and phenomena that have something magical, mysterious or mysterious in them.
After paying our visit to Spišská Bystrá we moved on to the area of the Slovak Paradise mountain range, more precisely to the tourist center Podlesok, which is located in the valley of the Velká Bílá voda brook.

We travel to eastern Slovakia after a while. There we will see some unique places. The first one is Herlany town, about 28 kilometers from Kosice. The town is in picturesque land at the foothills of the Slanske Hills and the Herlansky creek.
Summer is getting closer. It is the best time for tourism. We take you to a paradise, a Slovakian one actually. We start our trek in Smizany village. There also starts a nature trail.
Last week we set off to explore Slovensky Raj, the area between Smizany and Cingov villages. This part of the trail goes across meadows, forest paths and roads. However, there was greater challenge ahead. Prulom Hornadu is area known for is know climbing irons and safety chains.
Gemer region is known for beautiful nature and places of history. We visit one of them. Today, we visit the town of Roznava situated in the basin of the same name. It is surrounded by the grandiose Volovske Hills and the unique Slovakian Karst.
After quite a long time we set off to nature again. This time we take you to Kysel gorge in Slovensky Raj national park.
We have good news for all tourism lovers! These days, bookstores come with beautiful books about the most beautiful pedestrian routes, which will take you on routes of various difficulty, where you can discover Slovak natural gems or beautiful nooks.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary since the foundation of Czechoslovak Republic, a number of events took place last year and several interesting publications were published. One of them is a historical-geographic book, which, through old postcards showing picturesque places in Slovakia and the life of its inhabitants between 1918 and 1939.
